Merchant and Mills Quilted Jacquard Indian Cotton Dressmaking Fabric 'Rasai Square'

This warm orange coloured layered cotton has a jacquard weave that gives it a quilted look and feel. I can see this being used for quilted jackets, bags, throws, quilts and oversized cushions.

The reverse is gauzy, there is no batting in the middle of this cloth, the inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which gives it the quilted feel. The top is a fine cotton blend.

If possible we would advise overlocking your raw edges before sewing to prevent fraying.

This is only produced in 5m pieces, if you order over 5m's it will not be sent in a continuous piece.

100% cotton.
120cm wide.

There may be some white slubs or colour graduation throughout the cloth, these are intentional and not flaws.
I recommend not using this for something that will sit in direct sunlight.
Wash cool. Do not tumble. Shake out and dry flat. Iron cool.

Price is per half metre - please add the number of half metres required in the quantity box, this will be cut in 1 continuous length.

For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
