Quilted Jacquard Indian Cotton Dressmaking Fabric in 'Blue Pop’ by Merchant and Mills

A vibrant mid blue coloured layered cotton with a jacquard weave giving it a quilted look and feel.

We can see this being used for quilted jackets, bags, throws, quilts and even cushion covers.

The reverse has a soft and gauzy feel making it extremely comfortable to wear against the skin. The inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which give it the quilted feel. The top is a fine soft cotton.

This is only produced in 5m pieces, if you order over 5m's it will not be sent in a continuous piece.

100% cotton.

There may be some white slubs or colour graduation throughout the cloth, these are intentional and not flaws.

If possible we would advise overlocking your raw edges before sewing to prevent fraying.

Wash cool. Do not tumble. Shake out and dry flat. Iron cool.

Thread match Gutermann Sew All 316.

For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
