Shipping

Where do you ship to?

We are very happy to ship worldwide, with the exception of EU countries. Unfortunately, due to current regulations, we’re unable to sell to customers in the European Union at this time.

Why don't you ship to the EU?

EU regulations require non-EU businesses to have an authorised representative based in the EU in order to sell certain goods. As a small independent studio, we don’t currently have this in place, but we hope to find a solution in the future.



How long does shipping take?

We are currently dispatching orders within 1–2 working days and delivery times will vary depending on your location. We also offer an express delivery option if you need your items in a hurry.

How do I track my order?

If you have selected a tracked delivery option we will provide you with the tracking details as soon as your items are shipped.

Returns

Do you accept returns?

Yes — we accept returns on most items in accordance with UK consumer regulations. If you change your mind about an eligible item, you have 14 days from receipt to notify us and a further 14 days to return it in its original condition for a refund.

Are any items non-refundable?

Yes — we’re unable to accept returns on fabric that has been cut to order, as it’s customised to your specification. We also cannot accept returns on custom-made items unless they arrive damaged or faulty.



How do I request a return?

Please email us at shropshiresews@outlook.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll guide you through the process and provide the return address.




Do you cover return postage?

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or we’ve made an error with your order.






My item arrived damaged — what should I do?

We're so sorry! Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue, and we’ll resolve it as quickly as possible.

Social Sewing Days

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring your projects and your lunch. If you are bringing your sewing machine, an extension lead would also be handy but I will have some spares if needed.

There will be a swaps table but please don't feel pressured into bringing things in, its just for fun and you are welcome to take home any items you can make use of.

There will also be a pop-up shop with a small selection of items from the online store. If there is anything in particular you would like to see please let me know beforehand and I can make sure I bring it.

Does everyone already know each other?

Not at all — we always have a mix of returning faces and new ones at each Social Sewing Day. Some people come with a friend, others come solo (and often leave with a few new sewing pals!).

We keep the atmosphere relaxed, welcoming and friendly. Come as you are, bring your latest project and enjoy a lovely day of stitching and chatting with like-minded people.

What if I can no longer make it?

We know that life happens — if you’ve booked a spot at one of our Social Sewing Days and can no longer make it, here’s what to do:

If you let us know at least 7 days in advance, we’re happy to:

  • Move your booking to the next available session, or
  • Issue you a full refund — whichever you prefer!

Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer refunds or move your booking if we receive less than 7 days’ notice, as final preparations are already underway by then. You’re very welcome to book again for a future session.
